New Oxford Grocery Store to Open This Summer

The $70 million mixed-use development project is moving along quickly and several tenants have been confirmed.

Plans are moving quickly for the $70 million project in Oxford at 278 Oxford Road on 32-acres.

Market 32, a 54,000-square-foot supermarket will open in June as part of the Towne Center/Quarry Walk development, the Connecticut Post reports. The grocery store will include a full-service pharmacy.

The project also includes: Newtown Savings Bank branch, medical offices, 200,000-square-feet of retail and 150 condos, the Post reports. Other confirmed tenants include Ace Hardware, a liquor store and a post office.
