Oxford Baseball Gets Win at Home

The Wolverines knocked off New Milford for their first South-West Conference victory.

The Oxford High School baseball team improved its record to 5-2 on the season with an 8-6 victory over New Milford on Thursday.

The Wolverines were led by Neil Ring, who ripped two doubles and knocked in two runs. JP DeFrancesco had a two-run double, while Dale Keller had two hits and an RBI.

On the mound, Kyle Chudoba struck out five and got the win to improve to 2-0 on the season. Steve Mahoney struck out four and recorded the save for Oxford.
