Oxford Business To Expand in a New, Larger Location

The new building will include 48,000-square-feet of space.

Contributed photo: Oxford First Selectman George R. Temple on Tuesday celebrated the expansion of the XAL company to a new location on Hawley Road. The building will be 48,000 square feet. The company produces luminaires and lighting systems for luxury retail office, hotel and residential lighting.

XAL on Tuesday announced an expansion of it Oxford, Connecticut operations.

XAL will complete construction of a new facility located at 150 Hawley Road, Oxford. At 48,000 square feet this facility will quadruple the manufacturing capacity of its USA operations.

This facility will also feature a product showroom that provides lighting designers and architects a close-up look at our products and the ability to see them in different applications. R&D and Sales efforts will also be substantially increased with this expansion

XAL is proud to become an even bigger part of the Connecticut community by hiring local people into a rapidly growing company with excellent career opportunities, according to a prepared statement. XAL Inc. employees approximately 60 people across North America. The company started operations in the USA in 2008 and is currently operating at 3 Morse Road, Oxford CT 06478.
