Oxford Commercial Building Sells for $1.05 Million
The transaction was completed this week.

Barbara L. Pearce, CEO and President of Pearce Real Estate, today announced that Carl G. Russell, Team Leader and Senior Broker in the Milford Commercial Office, has completed the sale of a 19,860-square-feet light industrial building on 12 acres of land in Willenbrock Industrial Park, Oxford. The price was $1.05 million.
Russell represented both buyer and seller in the transaction. Originally built in 1983, the building was designed as part of the Star Wars Program under the Reagan Administration. When the program was abandoned, the facility was used by Alpha Star, a provider of high speed internet access and satellite communication.
Its seller was 66 Hawley Road, L.L.C. The buyer is Roller Bearing Company of America, Inc., a US-based international manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered precision plain, roller and ball bearings. RBC of America, with more than 20 locations in North America and abroad, has been in business since 1919.
