Oxford Cultural Arts Plans Summer Events
Events for people of all ages will be offered this summer.

The following news release comes from the Oxford Cultural Arts Commission.
The is proud to present its Summer Theater program, which will take place June 13-Aug. 4.
Four classes will be offered at the Grange Hall on Route 67 in Oxford: Theater for Children (ages 8-12, Thurs. 5:30-7:25 PM, $20 per class), Acting Essentials (Ages 15+, Mon/Weds, 6-7:30 PM, $15 per class), Dance for Musical Theater (Ages 15+, Mon/Weds 7:30-9 PM, $15 per class) and Oxford’s very own Adult Theater troupe (Ages 18+ Thurs, 7:30-9 PM, $20 per class) which will be a stepping stone for the upcoming Oxford community theater company “The Nine Mile Players” which will hold its first season in the fall.

Classes will be instructed by professional and award winning staff members Kelly Nelsen of FOOTElights Theater Company and Great Oak Middle School drama program and choreographer Jennifer Kealey of Gotta Dance Studio in Fairfield, both faculty of the successful Oxford High School drama program. Students can sign up for the eight week program or drop in if space is available. No experience necessary.
