Oxford Election Results 2021: Vote Totals For Winning Candidates

Republicans swept all the contested races.

OXFORD, CT — Republican incumbent First Selectman George R. Temple won a sixth term in resounding fashion in Tuesday's election, garnering 3,023 votes compared to the challenger, Bull Moose Party candidate Tanya Carver's 406 votes, according to unofficial results. Winners are in bold.

For the Board of Selectmen, Republican Arnold Jensen won with 2,442 votes; Democrat David W. McKane received 957 votes, and Bull Moose candidate Alan S. Goldstone garnered 250 votes.

Board of Finance — Democrats Eric D. Goldstein; Robert Campbell; and Susan L. Arpin (1,066 votes) against Republicans Paula Jensen (2,611 votes) and Jack Kiley (2,668 votes), and Bull Moose candidate Israel Oscar Perez.

Board of Assessment Appeals — Democrat Nicole Dykstra vs. Republican Martin Wing (2,392 votes) vs. Bull Moose candidate Edward L. Carver, Jr.

Planning and Zoning Commission:

Democrats - Joshua Dykstra; Peter Zbras, Sr. (963 votes)

Republicans - Daniel Wall (2,548 votes); Patrick Cocchiarella (2,659 votes); and Jesse Schremmer (2,610 votes)

Bull Moose - David L. Stocker

The Board of Education race was essentially uncontested because five candidates were vying for five seats.
