Oxford Football Coach Fighting to Keep His Job: Report
Administrators and staff testified the coach was out of control during an incident at central office last year where the coach was charged.

OXFORD, CT — Oxford High School head football coach Joseph Stochmal, who is currently suspended after being charged with breach of peace for an incident that occurred at the district's administrative offices on Dec. 9, is fighting to keep his job.
Hearings are ongoing and during testimony this week administrators said that Stochmal was "out of control" toward John Barlow, who is the school district's facilities manager, reports the Republican-American. Stochmal was upset after his brother resigned as a custodian, the Rep-Am reports. (To sign up for Oxford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Administrators testified that Stochmal was cursing and screaming toward Barlow, the Rep-Am reports, and Barlow testified that Stochmal told him "this isn't over. You're going to get yours." Barlow testified that he's still in fear over the situation, the Rep-Am reports.
