Oxford High School Detailed in Latest U.S. News Report

OXFORD, CT - U.S. News & World Report in a just released report concludes that 25 Connecticut Public High Schools are among the nation’s top 1,000.

To view that list click here. Oxford High School is unranked by U.S. News & World Report, which only ranked the top 48 public high schools in Connecticut.

But the report still details Oxford High School. According to the report, Oxford High School has a college readiness score of 36.6. A college readiness score pertains to students performance on standardized tests and a higher number is considered better here.

For comparison the No. 1 ranked Connecticut public high school has a college readiness score of 92.8 percent and a graduation rate of 98 percent.

Oxford High’s AP participation rate is 40 percent.

Oxford High School has 600 students and 47 full-time teachers. The high school’s graduation rate is 97 percent.
