THE STORY: Arsenic and Old Lace, a clever combination of the farcical and the macabre, centers on two elderly sisters who are famous in their Brooklyn neighborhood for their numerous acts of charity. Mortimer Brewster, their nephew, is living a happy life: a steady job as a drama critic, a beautiful new fiance, and two doting aunts, who unbeknownst to him have a few secrets they’ve been keeping. Mortimer always knew that his family had a bit of a mad gene – his brother believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt after all and his great-grandfather used to scalp Indians for pleasure – but his world is turned upside down when… Wait, you think I am going to spoil it for you? Then YOU are the crazy one! Come see the show!
