Oxford's Rich Farm Ice Cream Shop Makes Connecticut's Top Ice Cream List

A new list examines the best 11 ice cream places in Connecticut and of course Rich's made the list.

OXFORD, CT - The calendar has turned to March, and in Oxford signs of spring are everywhere - no snow on the ground, temperatures in the 40s and 50s, kids tossing a baseball around in the park.

Another telltale indication of the imminent arrival of spring is the opening of ice cream shops around the region. With that in mind, the online site www.onlyinyourstate.com recently featured their list of the 11 best ice cream shops in the Nutmeg State.

Oxford made the list with Rich Farm Ice Cream Shop at 691 Oxford Road ranked at No. 9.

“Another seasonal spot, this shop offers over-sized scoops and unique flavors that will satisfy your whole family,” the website states.

On their Facebook page, Rich Farm Ice Cream posted some news that is really resonating with its customers.

“We were going to wait until tomorrow to post, but we are just too excited! OPENING DAY is this close! We can't wait to see you all on ⭐Thursday, March 10th!!!⭐
