Paul Marino, Former Owner of Auto Motion, Dies at Age 47

Calling hours are Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Paul V. Marino, age 47, entered into eternal rest on May 12, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Michele (Berritto) Marino and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.

Paul was born in Derby on February 27, 1964, son of Joseph A. Marino and Jeanne Ptak Marino. He was a talented auto mechanic and the former owner and operator of Auto Motion in Oxford. Paul was also an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.

Paul is the adoring father of Adrianna and Victoria Marino; the devoted brother of Stephen Marino; the loving grandson of Theresa Marino; nephew of Dorothy and Charles Haddad; and the uncle of Douglas, Samantha, Tessa, and Sadie. He is also survived by stepmother Kay Marino, mother-in-law Diane Berritto, sister-in-law Jodi O’Rielly and her husband Jay, grandmother-in-law Helen Skrobat, and several cherished cousins.

Paul is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Frank Marino, and his maternal grandparents, Anne and Anthony Ptak. 

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday from 4PM to 8PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. On Tuesday, friends are invited directly to Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Church Street, Seymour, CT 06483 for a funeral service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marino Children Education Fund.
