Stevenson Dam Power Station Sold to Canadian Company as Part of $1.2 Billion Acquisition

The acquisition includes Stevenson Dam power station in Oxford, Candlewood Lake and the Bulls Bridge power plant in New Milford.

OXFORD, CT-- Candlewood Lake is being sold by FirstLight's parent company to a Montreal-based Public Sector Pension Investment Board for $1.2 billion, according to SFGate.com.

A FirstLight spokesman told the paper that the deal will be finalized in June.

Also included in the acquisition is the Bulls Bridge power plant in New Milford, the Shepaug power station in Southbury, the Rocky River power station in New Milford and the Stevenson Dam power station on the Monroe-Oxford border.
