Timeline for Five Guys, Daycare Opening in Oxford Released: Report

The Quarry Walk at Oxford Towne Center development is moving right along.

OXFORD, CT — Five Guys Restaurant hopes to make its debut in the Quarry Walk at Oxford Towne Center development by the summer, the Republican-American reports.

The Planning and Zoning Commission also approved a day care called Educational Playcare as part of the development in a new two-story, 15,000-square-foot building adjacent to Market 32, the Rep-Am reports. The day care wants to be open by August or the start of the school year.

Five Guys will be one of the occupants in a 8,800-square-foot building and a Verizon store and two other tenants will be nearby.

Quarry Walk will also include a 150-unit residential development including one and two bedroom townhouses, which will likely be rentals, the Republican-American reports. A groundbreaking for up to 30 to 60 units is possible later this spring.
