• CTDOT to begin Route 72 milling and resurfacing project in Bristol, Plainville (bristoledition.org) — Overnight milling and resurfacing on Route 72 in Plainville and Bristol starts Wednesday, May 13, and will run through June 12, with lane closures and traffic control in place. Work will occur Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., so Plainville drivers should plan extra time and use caution in the work zone.
