• Paulhus says the town will be more proactive next year with pool opening (newbritainherald.com) — Plainville’s town manager says officials will start work much earlier to ensure the Norton Park pool opens on time in 2027, after this year’s season was delayed by hard-to-find parts and unexpected grate repairs. Maintenance is now targeted to begin between March 15 and April 15, giving staff extra time to spot issues and avoid another June postponement.
