• Stacey Haupt Miranda appointed Danbury's new top prosecutor (greenwichtime.com) — Redding residents’ criminal cases in state Superior Court will now be overseen by newly appointed Danbury State’s Attorney Stacey Haupt Miranda, who began her eight-year term Wednesday. She will lead prosecutions for Danbury’s regional courthouse, which serves Redding and seven neighboring towns, bringing experience from wrongful conviction reviews and major felony investigations across Connecticut.
