21-Year-Old Arrested for Ridgefield Home Invasion: Police
A Ridgefield man was arrested Tuesday after an investigation revealed he forced entry into a Lake Mamanasco area home armed with a knife

RIDGEFIED, CT — Ridgefield police have arrested a local resident in connection with a 2015 home invasion in the Lake Mamanasco area, according to a press release from the Ridgefield Police Department.
On Tuesday, May 5, 2016, Ridgefield police arrested Edward Janerico, 21, of 67 Tackora Trail Ridgefield, and charged him with home invasion, unlawful restraint, second degree threatening and sixth degree larceny, police said. He was taken into custody at his residence by Ridgefield Police Detectives.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on November 4, 2015 in which Janerico forced his way into a Mamanasco Road residence armed with a knife. Police said he confronted the female homeowner and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

Janerico was processed at Ridgefield Police Headquarters and was unable to post the $100,000 court set bond. He was transported to Danbury Superior Court for arraignment, police said.
