The Aldrich To Host In-Person And Virtual Artist Talk In Ridgefield
The Aldrich will host an Oct. 30 artist talk with four Connecticut artists from its Decennial exhibition.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum will host an in-person and virtual artist talk Oct. 30 with four artists whose work is included in “The Aldrich Decennial: I Am What Is Around Me.”
The program will feature Lula Mae Blocton, Anoka Faruqee, David Driscoll and Kristy Hughes, with Karis Medina, associate curator at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, serving as moderator.
Tickets are available for both the in-person program at The Aldrich, 258 Main St., and the livestream via Zoom.

The discussion will focus on selected works, the artists’ broader practices and the questions, interests, experiences, relationships and influences that have shaped their work. The artists’ practices include visual art, writing, poetry and collaborative forms of making.
The program is presented in connection with “The Aldrich Decennial: I Am What Is Around Me,” the first edition of a recurring exhibition scheduled to take place every 10 years. The exhibition features 40 artists who live and work in Connecticut.
