ALICIA GIBSON OF BASIL YOGA CENTER TO LEAD A SPECIAL CLASS BENEFITING ECAD ON SUNDAY, JUNE 14. SERVICE DOG WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE

Meet a highly trained Service Dog, learn what they can do to help people, and have a great time helping yourself with a fabulous Yoga class.

A donation based Community Yoga Class led by Alicia Gibson will be held at the Basil Yoga Center on Sunday, June 14, from 4-5PM. Participants will have the opportunity to meet one of ECAD’s highly trained Service Dogs. ECAD, Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities, founded in 1995, by CT residents Dale and Lu Picard, is a not for profit organization whose mission is to provide highly skilled Service Dogs to increase mobility and independence for people living with disabilities. ECAD has a variety of programs. Each one is designed to meet the needs of a specific population: Veterans, at-risk youth, persons living with disabilities or in stressful circumstances, and children as young as two with Autism.

Refreshments will be offered following the class.
