Apartments, Office Slated for Tigers' Den Property in Ridgefield

The Tigers' Den restaurant closed in July after almost four years in business.​

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A proposal to convert the former location of the Tigers' Den sports bar and neighboring properties into five apartments and an office space has been approved by the town, The Ridgefield Press has reported.

Sturges Properties filed the proposal in October. The developer purchased the property (23 and 23 1/2 Catoonah Street) in August. It includes the building that houses Consign Envy and Nancy O needlwork shop. The Tigers' Den restaurant closed in July after almost four years in business.

Sturges plans to build two one-bedroom units on the top floor and two one-bedroom units and a studio apartment on the bottom floor. The bottom floor will feature a 200 square-foot rentable office.
