Arrest Made In Ridgefield Counterfeit Currency Case
A juvenile has been arrested for passing fake $100 bills in town, according to police.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A juvenile was arrested after he passed several $100 counterfeit bills at Ridgefield stores in January, according to police.
The suspect would buy items for $30 or less and use a $100 bill to get change. Other nearby towns had similar incidents.
A 16-year-old Bronx, N.Y. boy was issued a summons for five counts of first-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny.

He is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Juvenile Court March 12.
