Art on the Farm: Photography Class

Our hardworking farmers cultivate one of the most beautiful and lively environments in Fairfield County.

This summer, The Hickories is offering photography and sketching classes for artists and art students (16+) to further develop one's artistic eye using the farm's live animals, plants and landscapes. Dr. Jean Linville, a local photographer, artist, writer, and arts educator, will be providing guidance and inspiration to participants using a variety of artistic mediums and subjects.  Additionally, participants in any of our Sunday sessions will have the opportunity to submit work to a fall exhibition at The Hickories. Please share with us the fruits of your creativity and effort, and especially the joy of working farm life!

Upcoming summer sessions will take place on Sunday, July 21st and Sunday, August 18th. Reserve a spot now! Go to www.thehickories.org/art-farm or email info@thehickories.org. Bring cash or check (for The Hickories) on the day of the session.

Each session: $20 ($10 for CSA members)
