Boehringer Ingelheim Sees an Increase in Sales
The increase is a change for the company that saw profits drop in 2014.

Ridgefield-based Boehringer Ingelheim reported a slight increase in sales in the first half of 2015.
In a statement issued by the company, officials said sales increased about two percent to around $7.4 billion euros compared to 2014 where that same number was $6.5 billion.
“In the past few months, we have pushed ahead with updating our portfolio with our market launches, thereby not only creating growth potential but also taking advantage of it,” Professor Andreas Barner, Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors said in the statement. “We have reacted to the changing environment in the pharmaceuticals industry, particularly in markets of importance to us, USA and Japan, with sustainable, long-term initiatives to boost efficiency.”
