Branchville Road Closed Due To Fire On Road: Report
Ridgefield Fire Police are on scene after a fire on the road.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield Fire Police are on scene of a "heavy fire on the road" on Branchville Road, reports the Ridgefield Press. A downed tree on a wire allegedly caused the fire.
According to the Daily Voice, the road will be closed until about 3 p.m. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Approximately one-tenth of the town was out of power. The Ridgefield Press reports more than 1,000 customers were without power.
