SAT Test Prep on Zoom with Lentz and Lentz
Lentz and Lentz is proud to be offering live online virtual classrooms for SAT and PSAT prep. These classes are taught by our best rated teachers. The reviews from students who have taken these classes have been excellent. These live online courses consist of the same instructional content as our in-person classroom courses conducted at our local high schools.
Students prep in the comfort, convenience, and safety of their own homes. With easy to use screen sharing technology hosted through ZOOM, we are able to create a virtual classroom in which the instructor and all students can communicate with one another in real time. These lessons proceed according to the exact same format as our classroom lesson plans. Everything our instructors write down over the course of the lesson, including problems, notes, and solutions are visible online. Students with questions can push a button to raise their hands. In addition to real time answers, there is also access to free individualized extra-help. Students also have the opportunity to re-listen to lessons in their entirety. The online classroom is a perfect solution for preparation allowing students the convenience and flexibility to prepare in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

<h2>Ekta Community Center Hosts 2026 Diwali Mela in Ridgefield, Connecticut</h2>
RIDGEFIELD, CT, November 1, 2026 – The Ekta Community Center (ECC) is pleased to announce its annual 2026 Diwali Mela, a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and the spirit of Diwali, the Festival of Lights celebrated by more than one billion people of Indian and South Asian heritage around the world. The word Mela means "fair" or "gathering" in multiple Indian languages and reflects the event's festive and communal atmosphere. In keeping with that tradition, the event will feature cultural programs, a marketplace of South Asian businesses and artists, regional Indian cuisine, and a lively DJ-led dance floor featuring popular Bollywood and contemporary Indian music.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ridgefield Parks &amp; Recreation Gym, 195 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Diwali Mela is the signature event of Ekta Community Center, a secular nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cultural understanding, community engagement, and the celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Indian American and other South Asian communities. Through educational, cultural, and civic programs, ECC continues to foster connections and strengthen community ties throughout the region.
This year's cultural showcase will feature the rich diversity of India's performing arts, including four classical dance traditions, folk dances representing approximately nine Indian states, and energetic Bollywood performances, all presented by local residents and dance students from Ridgefield and neighboring communities.
The event also serves as a marketplace for South Asian-owned businesses and entrepreneurs, featuring vendors offering clothing, jewelry, accessories, arts and crafts, and professional services. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of products while supporting local small businesses. Guests can also enjoy authentic regional Indian cuisine from some of Fairfield County’s most popular restaurants, showcasing the diverse culinary traditions and flavors found across India.
The 2026 Diwali Mela Committee welcomes everyone to join in celebrating the traditions of Diwali while fostering community, cultural appreciation, and meaningful connections among people from all backgrounds. Early Bird tickets are available for $10 per person through October 18, 2026, at<a href="https://ektacc.org/tickets" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"> ektacc.org/tickets</a>. General admission will be $15 per person after October 18. ECC members and children ages five and under are admitted free of charge. Food and beverages will be available for purchase separately.

The program will cover many aspects of Roman life, including the importance of wine, ritual and travel. Whether you’re starting a new pattern or untangling an old one, our resident expert Kristin Quell-Garguilo will be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance. LaBlast Fitness ® Cardio Dance Workout with Light Weights You will get your heart rate up and sweat a bit with this aerobic workout created by Louis Van Amstel of Dancing with the Stars. LaBlast® is a partner-free, simple, low impact, safe, cardio / ballroom dance workout for all levels. Some exercises use optional light weights. There is no mat. It's fun and energizing. Beginners are encouraged to attend. Wear sneakers and bring light hand weights (if you have them) and a water bottle. Instructor Denise Nethercott started ballroom dancing in 2011 and has successfully competed as an amateur ballroom dancer with Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She is an Open Gold level dancer with numerous accomplishments. She placed first at the National Dance Championship competition in Florida and is the winner of many Regional competitions throughout these years - both Championship and Scholarship rounds. She is proficient in both American and International styles. Denise's mission is to combine her passion for ballroom dance with her passion for physical fitness. Upon discovering LaBlast® Fitness, she knew right away, this was for her. LaBlast® is a fun, safe exercise program that combines the love of dance with the need to move our bodies. Denise became a certified LaBlast® Fitness instructor in 2019 and started Dance Fit with Denise in 2021.
