One Killed, Ridgefield Woman Injured, In Head-on Collision
Both drivers needed to be extricated from their vehicles.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police have identified a 20-year-old Waterbury man as the sole fatality in a head-on two-vehicle collision on Route 7 early Thursday morning.
Jose Miguel Guillen-Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Ridgefield Police Chief Shawn Platt said.
The second driver, Karol Mora, 44, of Ridgefield, was taken to Danbury Hospital for an evaluation of her injuries.
Both drivers needed to be extricated from their vehicles, Platt said. The crash occurred at 4:02 a.m.
