Dorothy Louise Hall, Long-Time Ridgefield Resident, Passed Away
Mrs. Hall worked in the cafeteria at Ridgefield High School before retiring.

Dorothy Louise Hall, long-time resident of Ridgefield, passed away on October 14, at the age of 90.
Born Dorothy Juleson on July 17th 1925, she grew up in Norwalk, CT. During World War II, she worked in a factory blowing glass for radio parts for the war effort. In 1946, she married Clifford H. Hall, who had returned from the war a year earlier, and remained by his side for 68 years until his death earlier this year. She loved to cook his favorite meals which included: macaroni and cheese with stewed tomatoes, Spam, Spaghetti with Italian Sausage, Pepper and Eggs, and S.O.S. She also made killer macaroni salad and potato salad for their yearly Fourth of July parties.
A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she leaves behind three children Clifford H. Hall III, Susan Bahr, and Douglas, two daughters in law, Norma and Joungsun (Joanne), seven grandchildren Dallas Gozdowski, Deanna Wiuff, Kevin Bahr, Jessica Bahr, Christopher Graves, Joyce Graves, and Ryan Hall; and three great-grandchildren Cordelia Gozdowski, Brooklyn Gozdowski, and Talan Wiuff. She was extremely proud of both of her sons and Kevin’s military service. She worked in the cafeteria at Ridgefield High School before retiring. She was a devout member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Ridgefield, CT with internment at the Ridgebury Cemetery, next to the Ridgebury Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV
