Enchanted Garden Studios Names New Director, Fall Classes

The new director has also served as the Arts in Education Director at Western Connecticut State University.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Enchanted Garden Studios has named a new director of theater and announced its line-up of theater and drama classes for fall.

Linda Randazzo was named director of theater for the Enchanted Garden School of Theater. She has formerly worked as a teacher and director of a number of programs in the region, including Candlewood Playhouse, Westbury Music Fair and North Shore Theater. She was awarded the Scotsman Theater Award for best play at the Edinburgh Theater Festival in Scotland. Randazzo has also served as the Arts in Education Director at Western Connecticut State University, where she directed, produced, and wrote numerous productions for young people. She is also a voiceover actress and author of books and a TV show for children.

The fall program will include Acting (ages 5-8), Musical Theater (ages 7-13), Theater Tots (ages 3-4), Scenes for Teens (ages 12-17), Broadway Dance (grades K-9), Improv Fun (ages 11-16), Acting for the Camera (ages 9-14) and Voice Acting (ages 7-9). For the first time, Enchanted Garden is offering a Fairytale Theater Production Workshop (ages 8-14), inviting students to join the cast on October 6 (performance on December 8).
