Craig's Cares: A Fundraiser for Tiger Hollow Stadium is Thursday

On Thursday, December 8th from 4 pm to 8 pm, Craig's Fine Jewelry will be hosting a fundraiser for Tiger Hollow Stadium.  The Board of Directors through grants, corporate donations and special events, like Craig’s Cares, raise all of the Stadium’s maintenance and improvement costs. 

Twenty percent (20%) of the evening’s sales, along with a $2,000 donation from Craig’s, will be given to the organization for their 2012 capital plans, including lighting by the new staircase going from the upper parking area down to “Tiger Hollow Way” and drainage problem near the cross-country course; and for long-term maintenance like replacement of the turf and track.  

Along with all of our jewelry, four outstanding jewelry designers, Alwand Vahan, Honora, Lauren K and Monica Rich Kosann, will be having Trunk Shows with specialty pieces not always found at Craig’s, and the Benziger Family Winery will be hosting a wine tasting. 

Craig’s CARES is a series of fundraisers that Craig’s Fine Jewelry is hosting in 2011 for several local, non-profit organizations and national charities. Besides, Tiger Hollow Stadium, Craig’s CARES has benefited the Ridgefield Playhouse (May 26^th), the Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield (July 14^th), ROAR (September 15^th), Praxair Cancer Center (October 20^th), and Ability Beyond Disability (November 17^th)).  At each of these events, the partnering organization or charity has received 20% of the evening’s sales and a $2,000 donation from Craig’s. To date, over $34,000 has been raised from Craig’s Cares events and donated to local charities.
