Cub Scout Pack 116 of Farmingville Elementary School is holding their 2nd Annual Cubmobile Street Derby on Sunday, May 1st from 2-4pm on Governor Street. (Raindate: Sunday May 15th). The event is open to all Cub Scout Packs in Ridgefield and the whole town is invited. Come watch, cheer on the Cub Scouts and enjoy a family afternoon in the center of Ridgefield. Governor St. will be closed to all traffic to allow for safe racing for the Scouts. The elementary-age boys will be racing in wooden “cars” built by members of the Pack 116 leadership team. The races themselves will be the highlight of the afternoon but additional attractions including food and music will be available.
