Discovery Center's 'Fascinating Honey Bees'

Who lives in a bee hive, how many eggs a day does the queen lay, how much honey does a bee make in her life time? plans a visit to the Ridgefield home of beekeeper Terry Bearden-Rettger, 10 Hamilton Road, at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, to learn about the fascinating life of the honey bee. Visitors will get an up close look at the honey bees at work in an observation hive. All ages welcome.  The event is free for members, $7/non-members. Register here
