The hosts an old-fashioned picnic in celebration of its 25th anniversary Saturday, Sept. 25, at Sturges Park on Rippowam Road. The park gate will open at 5 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 26.
The celebration will include a cake, night hike, astronomy, games and more.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic supper and The Discovery Center will supply dessert.
