Lifeguard Training Course Registration, Skills Pretest

The will conduct a Lifeguard Training Course for students ages 15 and up. The program is appropriate for those interested in becoming a lifeguard and swim lesson teacher or water safety instructor.

Prior to beginning the course, all applicants must pass a pre-course skills test, which will be offered 4-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at the recreation center pool.

Participants must pass the pre-course skills test and attend all classes to obtain certification. For swim level requirements visit the recreation department or call 431-2755.

The course will be held 1:30-6 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 11 through Feb. 12, at the Barlow Mountain pool.

The fee is $360 for members and $410 for non-members.
