Port of Missing Men Hike & Historical Program

This popular historical program takes us back to the early 1900's to the site of the famous "Tea House" in North Salem.

This walk along the old Port of Missing Men property will feature stories about the Italian immigrants who brought their old world skills to Ridgefield to build roads and bridges, clear swamps, and build dams and lakes. We will relive the early years of Ridgefield and search for ruins of the shanties where workmen once lived. We will also enjoy nature and beautiful views along the way.

This program is for adults and children ages 8 and up. It is an easy to moderate hike that lasts about 1-1/2 hours.
