All Ridgefield Travel Baseball and Ridgefield Little League players and their families are invited to celebrate the upcoming baseball season with a kickoff event at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. We will be showing “The Rookie,” starring Dennis Quaid – which tells the real-life story of high school science teacher Jim Morris, who reached the Majors in 1999 at the age of 35.
The suggested donation for admission is $5 per person. Raffle tickets will also be sold and drawings will be held throughout the event for some very nice prizes. We will also be taking orders for black Majestic pullovers with Ridgefield embroidery - these will go very nicely with any travel or little league uniform or on any parent looking for a bit of warmth at the start of the season! Checks and cash are requested for these.
