Have you ever thought about becoming a swim instructor? Students 16 years old or older who complete this course will receive an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certificate.
Classes meet on Saturdays at Barlow Mountain School pool from 1:30 pm to 6 pm, and on Thursdays at the Ridgefield Recreation Center from 6 pm to 10 pm. To be eligible for this course you need to successfully complete the pre-course on Thursday, October 20 at the Recreation Center pool from 7 pm to 8:30 pm
The course runs from October 29 to December 10. It is $383 for Recreation Center members and $433 for non-members. If you complete this program and Ridgefield Parks & Recreation hires you, we will reimburse you for 50% of the cost of the course.
