Great Gourds! Ridgefield Chamber Announces Pumpkin Weigh-Off
The fun-filled pumpkin weigh-off in Ballard Park is presented by the Ridgefield Chamber. Find out what's planned this year.
RIDGEFIELD, CT— The Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Ballard Park is planned for September 25, 2016 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Ballard Park. Growers from around the region will compete for cash prizes.
There will be music, kid's activities, meet the growers and learn about growing. There will also be a pumpkin carving demonstration, food trucks, ice cream and donuts as well as exhibitors, shopping, farm stands and more.
Don't miss the one-time only showing of the documentary film "Rise of the Giants" leading up to the weigh-off on September 11 at 3 p.m. at the Ridgefield Library. Click here for more details.
The pumpkin weigh-off happens at noon followed by an award ceremony.
