Guest Bartender Night to Benefit Play for Purpose is April 7
The benefit is being held at Ristorante Gallo in Ridgefield.
A special fundraiser: Guest Bartender Night will be held on April 7 at Ristorante Gallo, 5 Grove Street in Ridgefield from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. “Famous” Guest Bartenders are promised to be serving guests throughout the event. 100% of all bar transactions and tips that night will be donated to the event.
The fundraiser will benefit “Play for Purpose” a 72-hour continuous hockey game that will be played this year April 28- May 1 at Winter Garden Ice Arena, 111 Prospect Ridge, Ridgefield, CT. This is the third year Play For Purpose is hosting the marathon hockey game to raise awareness and funds for charities. Proceeds will benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Pets for Vets, Southern CT Storm Hockey and Connecticut Burn Camp.
The players love the game but are playing for something beyond the love of sport. Last year the group raised over $50,000 (net to charities) and this year their goal is $60,000.
