Halloween Weather: Trick Or Treat in Ridgefield?

Halloween is now less than a week away, and forecast maps on weather.com are offering a hint of what’s to come.

At this point, the forecast for Halloween looks great. It will be a bit chilly at night, but seasonal.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies on Halloween day with temps peaking in the low 50s.

On Halloween night, the skies will be partly cloudy, right now there is no rain chance, and temps will be in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees for the low.

Work week forecast

The only difference between this work week forecast and the ones from the past couple of months is that rain is actually forecast, and a soaking rainstorm is expected this week.

Monday, sunny with temps in 55-57 range for all of Connecticut

Tuesday, mostly sunny with temps in the mid 50 range for all of Connecticut

Wednesday, rain is forecast to begin after 2 p.m. in southern Connecticut and in Hartford and Tolland counties rain could start after 9 a.m.

Rain is expected to increase in intensity throughout the day and evening with more than an inch of rain possible, the weather service writes. Thunderstorms are also possible. Temps will approach the mid 60s.

Thursday, rain ends early and skies turn cloudy and the sun may appear in the afternoon. Temps will be very warm approaching the mid 60s.

Friday, sunny skies, temps in the mid to upper 50s.
