Harry Cushing Kent, 87, of Ridgefield, Passed Away

Harry Cushing Kent, 87, of Ridgefield, husband of the late Eileen Kent, died on March 21, 2016.

Mr. Kent was born on May 17, 1928 in Providence, Rhode Island, son of the late Harry Kent and Ann Cushing. A resident of Ridgefield for the past 40 years, Mr. Kent was a member of Saint Mary Parish in Ridgefield, a member of the church choir and was awarded the Saint Augustine Medal for church participation at Saint Mary's.
Mr. Kent was employed with the International Business Machines Corporation, in finance.

Mr. Kent is survived by two daughters, Sharon M. Kent and her husband Kevin Coleman of Ridgefield, Kathy Kent and her husband John Santora of Ridgefield, a son, Brian Cushing Kent of Virginia and two grandchildren, Kelly and Kent Coleman of Ridgefield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, CT., on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:15 am. Interment will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours. Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, CT., is in charge of arrangements.
