Latest Ridgefield Coronavirus Update: 168 Confirmed Cases

Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Ridgefield.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Public Health has confirmed that 168 cases of the new coronavirus have been reported in Ridgefield as of Wednesday.

The large number of new positive cases reported Wednesday was due to a catch-up period in testing, according to Gov. Ned Lamont. Connecticut had another 121 coronavirus-related deaths, 2,109 positive cases and a net gain of 23 hospitalizations reported Wednesday.

A total of 5,716 test results have been reported statewide. There have been 1,544 COVID-19-associated deaths.
