Man Accused of Using Skimming Machines at ATMs in Ridgefield, Wilton and Norwalk Pleads Guilty: Report

The NY man pleaded guilty in R.I. to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, according to the U.S. Attorney.

A report on The Ridgefield Press stated that a New York man pleaded guilty in federal court in Providence, R.I. on Tuesday to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Rhode Island.

The investigation showed that Moises Morales Cano, 31, of Astoria, N.Y., used skimming devices at ATMs in Norwalk, Ridgefield and Wilton in April of 2015, the report said. Rhode Island's State's Attorney said this resulted in the loss of more than $709,000 from 1,300 individuals.
