Danbury Hospital Opens New Emergency Wing

Mayor Mark Boughton called Danbury residents Wednesday morning to alert them of changes at Danbury Hospital. On Wednesday, Sept. 10 Danbury Hospital officially opened their new Emergency Wing. Entry to the Emergency Room is now located on Hospital Ave. near Broadview Middle School. The Locust Ave. entrance is now closed. Click here for a map.

According to Danbury Hospital, the best access is from Hospital Ave. via the ASC driveway next to the Broadview Middle School field. Pass the Rizzo Garage and the new Emergency Department Wing is on the right. There is free parking in the open lot and in the Rizzo Garage.

Mayor Mark congratulated the Danbury Hospital on their new and improved wing.
