'Mile For a Smile' Takes Place in Ridgefield Sunday

Ridgefield resident Steven Christofor and his daughter Isabel will host the second annual “Mile For A Smile” fundraising event and awareness walk on Sunday.

The father and daughter’s goal for this year is to raise $1,250, which will help five children born with cleft lip. The walk starts at 11 a.m. in front of The Toy Chest located at 441 Main Street and will go to the Cass Gilbert Fountain, finally returning to Planet Pizza located at 411 Main Street. Planet Pizza will serve pizza to all those that have walked.

Donations will be accepted but are not required to walk. Anyone wishing to donate, may do so by clicking here or bring a check made to Smile Train.
