Motorist Who Rammed 2 Ridgefield Garages Under Investigation: Police
A Ridgefield resident called the police at around 5:30 Friday morning to report someone ramming his car into their garage.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police are investigating a motorist who reportedly rammed his vehicle into a couple of Ridgefield residential garages.
A Pierrepont Road resident called the police at around 5:30 Friday to report the incident as it was happening.
"The caller stated that a car was ramming into their garage. The Ridgefield Police Department was then notified by another caller that the same vehicle was driving into another garage," Capt. Jeff Raines said.
First responders identified the driver as Alexander Kaoukakis, 43, of Pickett Road in New Fairfield.
Kaoukakis was taken to Danbury Hospital for further evaluation, according to Raines.
The incident remains under investigation by the RPD.
