Ms President US to Honor Dr. Annie Tucci and Wayne Floegel
Founders Awards will be presented Sunday April 26th at free election event
Ms President US is proud to announce that Dr. Annie Tucci and Wayne Floegel will be honored with the prestigious Founders Award at the upcoming Signature Campaign & Election on Sunday, April 26th at 1pm.. This distinguished award recognizes individuals whose dedication and contributions have been instrumental in shaping and supporting Ms President US’s mission of inspiring and preparing young girls to become future leaders.
Dr. Annie Tucci, Ed.D., has been a valued member of the Ms President US Executive Board since 2022, bringing deep expertise in education and civic learning. As the 6-12 Humanities Curriculum Supervisor for Ridgefield Public Schools, Annie has played a key role in strengthening the organization’s educational foundation. She has contributed to curriculum development, supported the creation of innovative programming such as the first-ever Civics Bowl, and provided thoughtful guidance to chapter leaders navigating complex discussions. Annie’s commitment to fostering civic engagement and her active participation in board leadership have made a meaningful impact on the growth and integrity of Ms President US.
Wayne Floegel, a founding Board member of Ms President US and Ridgefield’s Registrar of Voters, has been a steadfast advocate for civic participation and nonpartisan leadership. Throughout his tenure, Wayne has provided invaluable insight into the electoral process, regularly engaging with students as a guest speaker and helping ensure the program reflects real-world democratic practices. His dedication to transparency, fairness, and community engagement has helped shape the organization’s commitment to authenticity and civic responsibility. Wayne’s consistent involvement and thoughtful contributions have been instrumental to the program’s success.
