Ms President US to Honor Michele Booth and Brenda McKinley with Founders Award at Signature Campaign & Election

Ridgefield, CT – Ms President US is proud to announce that Michele Booth and Brenda McKinley will be honored with the prestigious Founders Award at the upcoming Signature Campaign & Election on April 6th. This award recognizes individuals whose dedication and contributions have been instrumental in shaping and supporting Ms President US’s mission of inspiring and preparing young girls to become future leaders.
Michele Booth, a founding Ms President US Board member, has been integral to the organization’s development since its inception alongside founder Liz Osterhus. Over the years, she has guided strategic planning, marketing, and technological innovation for Ms President US, and has championed its growth. Leveraging more than two decades of experience in medical communications, Michele launched her own consulting company five years ago. Her industry leadership and commitment to civic engagement, including service on the board of the League of Women Voters, continue to strengthen Ms President US’s mission of preparing girls to take on the highest civic leadership positions. Her behind-the-scenes contributions, especially in ensuring the seamless execution of every election event, have been vital to Ms President US’s success.
Brenda McKinley, the Library Director of the Ridgefield Library, has been a dedicated member of the Ms President US Advisory Board since its inception. With a deep passion for lifelong learning and community engagement, Brenda has provided invaluable support to Ms President US by ensuring smooth operations for every meeting and event at the library. With a career spanning leadership roles at Fairfield Library, Danbury Library, and Yale’s medical library, Brenda has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering educational and community connections. Over the past eight years as Ridgefield Library Director, she has championed initiatives that empower individuals to discover, question, learn, and connect. Brenda’s meticulous attention to detail, her invaluable contributions at every Ms President US Board meeting, and her steadfast belief in Ms President US’s mission make her an exceptional recipient of the Founders Award.
