Municipal election

Endorsement for Debra Franceschini for Board of Education

Municipal elections are critical to the future of our community—especially this year’s election, with votes being counted on November 4. In addition to the important decision regarding Ridgefield’s new Public Safety Building, we have an opportunity to strengthen bipartisan representation in our town government.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Debra Franceschini as both a friend and an acquaintance for nearly 20 years, and of serving alongside her on the Ridgefield Affordable Housing Committee. Debra is a tireless volunteer who has dedicated countless hours to serving Ridgefield through a variety of civic and community roles.

While she is running as a Republican, Debra is not a partisan voice—she is a thoughtful, balanced, and collaborative problem solver. I believe her presence on the Board of Education will bring greater openness, transparency, and accountability to that important body.

This is an important election for Ridgefield. Early voting begins October 20, offering everyone the chance to make their voice heard. I strongly encourage you to participate—and to join me in casting your vote for Debra Franceschini.
