National Charity League Nutmeg Chapter Opens Annual Membership Drive
Membership Drive for National Charity League Nutmeg Chapter kicks off!

The National Charity League’s Nutmeg Chapter has opened its annual membership drive, with applications accepted from January 15 through March 1, 2026.
National Charity League (NCL) is a nonprofit, multigenerational organization that brings mothers and daughters together through an ongoing commitment to philanthropy, leadership development, and cultural engagement. Through hands-on service, Nutmeg Chapter members support a wide range of local nonprofits and community organizations throughout Ridgefield and neighboring towns.
Volunteer efforts focus on areas such as food security, senior services, arts and culture, education, and community care. Local philanthropy partners include the Ridgefield Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, Founders Hall, SPHERE, the Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue (ROAR), ACT of Connecticut, the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, and the Ridgefield Playhouse, among others.
Membership is open to families in Ridgefield and adjacent communities with daughters who will be rising 7th through 9th graders next school year.
In addition to volunteering, National Charity League emphasizes leadership development and the mother-daughter relationship during the middle and high school years. Members participate in activities that encourage responsibility, civic engagement, and an understanding of how local organizations serve the community.
Applications for the Nutmeg Chapter’s annual membership drive must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on March 1, 2026.
