Nearly 700 Lose Power In Ridgefield
Crews will work throughout the day to clear roads, repair damage and restore power to the remaining Ridgefield homes, Eversource said.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — A fallen tree knocked out power to nearly 700 customers in Ridgefield, Eversource is reporting on social media.
Power was quickly restored to the majority due to smart switches and "creative solutions by crews," Eversource officials posted to social media.
Tree and line crews will continue to work throughout the day to clear roads, repair the damage and restore power to the remaining homes.
As of 1 p.m., 60 homes and businesses remain in the dark.
