New Ridgefield VNA to Hold Ribbon Cutting Friday

The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce will celebrate Ridgefield VNA's Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting, tours and refreshments.

RIDGEFIELD, CT-- The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce announced that they will be holding a ribbon cutting on Friday, April 1 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. for the Grand Opening of Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association.

There will be guided tours of the new facility, located at 27 Governor Street, and light refreshments will be served.

The new facility is more than two years in the making through "Campaign for Tomorrow," a fundraising effort to build the new center. Ridgefield VNA broke ground on the new space on December 8, 2014, and over the next year-and-a-half built a new facility that is accessible to all who need services.

"Our plan is well defined and unites the tradition of individual care – in home or clinic – with best practices and modern technologies. RVNA is here to serve the tens of thousands of individuals – our family, friends and neighbors – who will need us in the years and decades to come," the organization said in a statement.

"What a beautiful addition to Ridgefield with much needed resources for the wonderful staff to continue their good work," the Chamber said on their Facebook page.
